Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy explains how ArtemisYeast supports international B2B shipments for bulk yeast products. Our website is inquiry-only, so shipping plans are confirmed case by case after we review product type, order volume, destination, packaging needs, documentation requirements, and preferred delivery terms. We can support common international freight arrangements, including sea freight, air freight, LCL, and FCL shipments. Final routing, transit time, and documentation responsibilities depend on the agreed Incoterms and the requirements of the destination country. For shipping questions or to request shipment planning support, contact us by email at info@artemisyeast.com.
Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to international wholesale shipments arranged for ArtemisYeast bulk yeast products. It is intended for importers, distributors, food manufacturers, feed producers, fermentation users, and other B2B buyers.
Because each shipment may involve different product specifications, packaging formats, customs rules, destination requirements, and freight availability, shipping details are confirmed individually during the inquiry and order confirmation process.
Inquiry-Only Shipping Process
ArtemisYeast does not publish public shipping rates or automatic checkout options. To prepare a shipping plan, we may ask for the following information:
- Product name and specification required
- Estimated order quantity and packaging preference
- Destination country and port, airport, warehouse, or delivery point
- Preferred shipping method, if any
- Requested Incoterms, such as FOB, CIF, or DAP
- Any import documentation, labeling, or inspection requirements
- Target delivery schedule or production deadline
Once the shipment scope is clear, we will confirm the available freight options and operational steps by email.
Freight Options
Depending on destination, product volume, urgency, and cargo requirements, shipments may be arranged by sea freight, air freight, or a combined logistics route.
- Sea freight: commonly used for larger bulk orders and routine replenishment planning.
- Air freight: may be considered for urgent, smaller, or time-sensitive shipments where available.
- LCL shipments: less-than-container-load options may be suitable when the order does not fill a full container.
- FCL shipments: full-container-load options may be used for larger orders or when dedicated container space is preferred.
Freight availability, routing, carrier schedules, and transit times are subject to change and may be affected by port congestion, customs procedures, weather, inspections, holidays, or other events outside our direct control.
Incoterms and Delivery Responsibilities
Shipping responsibilities are based on the Incoterms agreed in writing for the specific order. Common options may include:
- FOB: the buyer is generally responsible for main freight, destination customs clearance, import duties, taxes, and onward delivery after the agreed port of loading point.
- CIF: the seller generally arranges ocean freight and insurance to the named destination port, while the buyer remains responsible for import clearance, duties, taxes, and inland delivery unless otherwise agreed.
- DAP: the seller generally arranges delivery to the named destination place, while the buyer is typically responsible for import clearance, duties, taxes, and any required local approvals unless otherwise agreed.
The exact transfer of risk, cost allocation, and responsibility for customs or local delivery will be confirmed in the order documents. If there is any conflict between this page and the written order confirmation, the written order confirmation will apply.
Documents and Customs Support
ArtemisYeast can provide standard export and commercial documents where applicable to the shipment and product type. These may include commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, certificate of origin, product specification, and other available export documents.
The buyer is responsible for checking import rules before shipment, including product registration, customs classification, labeling, permits, inspection requirements, and any country-specific documentation. If special documents are needed, the buyer should notify us during the inquiry stage so availability and timing can be reviewed before order confirmation.
Lead Times and Transit Times
Estimated lead times depend on product availability, order quantity, packaging format, documentation requirements, freight booking, and the selected transport route. Transit times depend on carrier schedules and destination handling conditions.
Any lead time or delivery estimate provided by ArtemisYeast is an estimate only, not a guaranteed delivery date, unless expressly confirmed in writing. Buyers should allow extra time for customs clearance, inspections, inland transportation, holidays, and unforeseen delays.
Packaging, Labeling, and Cargo Handling
Bulk yeast products are prepared for shipment according to the agreed product and packaging requirements. Packaging format, palletization, marking, and labeling should be discussed during the inquiry stage, especially where the destination country has specific import or warehouse requirements.
After cargo is handed over to the carrier or freight forwarder under the agreed Incoterms, proper receiving, unloading, storage, and handling at destination are the buyer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Delays, Damage, or Shortage on Arrival
If a shipment is delayed, damaged, or appears to be short on arrival, the buyer should notify ArtemisYeast by email as soon as possible and provide supporting information. Useful records may include photos of the cargo, packaging, container condition, seals, delivery notes, inspection reports, and any carrier or warehouse remarks.
Claims related to visible cargo damage or shortage should also be recorded with the carrier, forwarder, warehouse, or local delivery provider at the time of receipt whenever possible. Review of any shipment issue will depend on the agreed Incoterms, shipping documents, inspection evidence, and applicable carrier procedures.
Buyer Responsibilities
For smooth international delivery, buyers are responsible for providing accurate shipping and import information. This includes correct consignee details, destination instructions, import documents, permits where required, and timely customs clearance support.
The buyer is also responsible for duties, taxes, customs fees, port charges, demurrage, storage, inspection fees, and local delivery costs where these are assigned to the buyer under the agreed Incoterms or local import rules.
