Overview
ART-AN-028 is a feed-grade yeast cell wall ingredient produced from inactive yeast biomass by separation and drying of the cell wall fraction. It is not a live yeast culture and is specified by compositional markers rather than CFU/g. Typical reference parameters may include beta-glucan 20-35%, mannan oligosaccharides 15-25%, crude protein 20-35%, moisture not more than 8%, ash not more than 8%, and fine powder passing 60-80 mesh, subject to batch confirmation by certificate of analysis.
The ingredient is selected by feed mills, premix blenders and integrators that need a dry, free-flowing yeast derivative compatible with mash feed, pellet feed, mineral premixes and specialty nutrition systems. For adjacent feed yeast materials, see our animal nutrition yeast category. Bulk quote on request is available for ART-* SKU procurement, including recurring production schedules.
Applications
- Poultry feed: used in broiler, layer and breeder formulations where yeast cell wall polysaccharides are specified in premix or complete-feed designs.
- Swine nutrition: suitable for nursery, grower-finisher and sow feed programs requiring an inactive yeast-derived functional feed ingredient with consistent powder handling.
- Ruminant feed: incorporated into dairy, beef and small-ruminant rations through mineral premixes, concentrates or total mixed ration additives.
- Aquaculture: applicable in fish and shrimp feeds where fine particle size, dry blending stability and feed-grade traceability are required.
- Pet and specialty feed: can be evaluated for kibble, extruded diets and nutritional blends after palatability, processing and label suitability checks by the buyer.
Storage and Handling
Store unopened 25 kg woven polypropylene feed sacks in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight, condensation, strong odors and chemical contaminants. Recommended storage is below 25°C with relative humidity controlled where possible. Typical shelf life is 18-24 months from manufacture when stored in original sealed packaging; the confirmed expiry date is stated on batch documents. Reseal partly used bags promptly and follow standard dust-control procedures during tipping, dosing and pneumatic conveying.
Quality and Documentation
ArtemisYeast supplies ART-AN-028 with lot traceability and specification review for feed manufacturers and importers. Documentation available on request may include certificate of analysis, technical data sheet, safety data sheet, feed-grade statement, allergen or GMO-position statement where applicable, and packaging photos. Manufacturing and supplier files can be reviewed through our quality documentation process; HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, Halal or Kosher documents may be provided where available for the selected production lot. To confirm specification, lead time and shipping lane, submit an inquiry through request quote.
